Eric started in real estate in 1969 and opened his own agency, Nicholas Lauder, six years later. Over the next 24 years, Eric built Nicholas Lauder into a six-office network that became recognised as the leader in marketing residential land estates in the North East region. The company became a member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia and Eric became a director of the institute at the age of 34. In 1994, Eric established RPM to service the development industry in the marketing of residential land throughout Melbourne. It has grown to now have more than 50 staff. It is Eric’s vision that has established RPM’s values, based on integrity and commitment.
In 1980 Peter founded Kilkenny Real Estate in Sunbury. Drawing on his background in his family business, Kilkenny Homes, Peter concentrated on marketing new homes and land. This approach saw the business successfully expand to three more offices and become the largest independent agent in the region. Peter founded Victorian Land Sales in the early 90’s, selling land to builders’ clients through display homes across Melbourne. After merging Victorian Land Sales into RPM in 1997 Peter then further enhanced his reputation within the development industry by specialising in Urban Land Sales and building the Urban Land division of RPM. Peter has successfully negotiated the acquisition of some of Melbourne’s landmark projects. His expertise in Urban Land is relied upon not only by developers but consultants alike.
Luke commenced his career with RPM in 1998 as an estate manager and has been instrumental in the success of many residential land estates. In 2006 Luke was appointed Estate Sales Manager in RPM’s expanding Estate Management Division and has continued to progress through the company. As Sales Director and with his practical experience, Luke provides an invaluable perspective. Luke draws on this experience to quickly identify changes in market conditions and implement solutions that ensure continued success.
Kevin was appointed as the company’s first Chief Executive Officer. Kevin brought with him a wealth of experience, having held similar Chief Executive roles for more than 20 years as well as having vast knowledge in the real estate industry. With his broad, lateral thinking, Kevin is a vital member of the RPM team and has made a strong impact on strategic direction. Kevin believes RPM’s success is due to the quality of its people, their hunger for information, their critical analysis and their innovative thinking.
Peter entered the real estate profession in 1994 and found his passion in the areas of investment sales and property management. He is well known for his excellent business development skills and for delivering a professional customer experience. Peter established RPM’s Residential Sales and Property Management Division and in 2008 became a director of RPM. After completing his Full Estate Agents Licence, Peter completed his degree at RMIT’s School of Property & Construction. Peter’s experience and knowledge have helped him establish a reputation for excellence within the industry.
