Landmark 10-storey residential tower from Burbank set to change the face of Werribee
Developer Burbank will build a landmark 10-storey apartment tower in the heart of Werribee’s CBD to bring housing diversity and urban-style living to the West’s key activity centre.
The $47 million RiverEdge tower will be built on a 1,664sqm site on the banks of the Werribee River. At 36m tall, it will comprise 100 apartments featuring mostly one and two bedroom and some three-bedroom dwellings and two retail spaces on ground level.
Designed by Rothelowman architects, RiverEdge has been designed to maximise its prime riverfront location, including views of the Brisbane Ranges from one side and the CBD and Port Phillip Bay from the other.
Located 35km from Melbourne’s CBD, Werribee is among the fastest growing populations in the country. With 35 residents moving to Wyndham every day, the region is expected to increase from 257,000 in 2018 to more than 465,000 people by 2038.
RPM head of Project Marketing Cameron Yates said, “We think RiverEdge will attract a mix of first home buyers, investors and downsizers given declining household size in Werribee,” he said.
“The Wyndham Park upgrade and river activation is a game changer for the city centre. Combined with a huge undersupply of apartments amid a massively growing population, it’s a project that will change the face of Werribee.
“RiverEdge offers choice for budget conscious buyers (entry level 1 bed at $345,000, 2 bed at $406,000) who have seen prices for house and land packages rise by 12 per cent in Wyndham over the past year to a median of over $550,000,” he said.
RPM has been appointed as the exclusive sales agency for the project. For enquiries contact Cameron Yates on +61 403 388 008 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
